I'm going to be taking a little break. I think for about a week. I am feeling a bit blue and really need to dive deep into the Word. I'll be reading Romans 1-8. God has been calling me to Romans. I've actually read up to chapter 6 but stopped. This isn't the first time I've read Romans by any means but I know God has something fresh for me. He needs my undivided attention. :) My mom is actually reading it too. We have decided to read two chapters a week. Really dive into it. Meditate on it. Chew on it. Then we are going to meet up Thursday evenings to discuss. I'm looking forward to it.
Another thing I'm doing this week is starting a monthly prayer meeting with my girlfriend Lori. We are meeting once a month, the last Wednesday, for an hour or so for prayer. Not sure what all we will be praying about but I know that God will meet us there. Lori and I are the kind of girls who are not afraid to call out strongholds and really do some warfare. I'm so blessed to have a prayer warrior within arm's reach. My other warriors are a bit far away in miles. Never in heart or phone calls! Glory!
So, I'm heading out ... Check back soon though. :)
I am humbled that you have joined me for a bit on my journey with Christ. Trust me, I am not an expert or scholar, just a gal who loves the Lord. One of my desires is to be clay in the Potter's hands ...

Thanks for stopping by. Praying for you as you dive into the Word.
Father, please speak to Terri through your word and holy spirit. Continue to mold her, teach her, and strengthen her. Speak to her in this season of "feeling blue" and we look forward to the next. To the season of joy. You are so good and we adore you. We love you and praise you. Thank you for who you are and for calling us your own. Yes, we trade these ashes in for beauty.
In Jesus' name...Amen.
"I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight – I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron – and I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who calls you by name, am the God of Israel." Isaiah 45:2,3
